Who is responsible
The controller is Sven van der Heide, trading as AdviSven, a sole proprietorship established in Bennekom, the Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 82326894. For any privacy question or request, write to privacy@advisven.nl.
What this website collects
This site has no user accounts, no comments and no advertising. Personal data is collected in one place only: the enquiry form. When you use it, AdviSven receives your name, e-mail address, company name if you enter one, and the content of your message.
The site is hosted by STRATO in the European Union. Server logs kept by the host may record your IP address for security and troubleshooting.
Why, and on what basis
Enquiry data is used solely to answer your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to prepare a quotation. The legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and AdviSven’s legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
Your details are never sold, never used for advertising, and never added to a mailing list without your explicit consent.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment are deleted within twelve months. Enquiries that do lead to an assignment are kept with the project file for the duration of the engagement and thereafter for as long as required by the statutory retention obligations that apply to it.
Who else sees it
Only Sven van der Heide reads your enquiry. It is stored on the STRATO mail platform in the EU. Where an enquiry becomes an assignment, invoicing data is processed in Moneybird, which hosts within the EEA under a data processing agreement, and is seen by the accountant.
Cookies
This site places only strictly necessary cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking and no advertising cookies, which is why you are not asked to accept anything on arrival.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for access to the data held about you, correction of anything inaccurate, erasure, restriction of processing, transfer of the data you provided, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these, write to privacy@advisven.nl. You will get a reply within one month. AdviSven carries out no automated decision-making.
Complaints
If you think your data has not been handled properly, please raise it at privacy@advisven.nl first — most matters are settled quickly. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch supervisory authority: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, Postbus 93374, 2509 AJ Den Haag, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
